Responsible

I'm being responsible & not going to watch CEC's sneak peek of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters tonight.

Even though I really, really want to watch it.

But I'm being responsible by doing homework instead.

Because that's the type of thing responsible people do.

And I'm going to be responsible tonight.

I just have to convince myself of that.

As can be seen by the fact that I'm currently writing this instead of reading academic articles.

Like a responsible person would do.

Responsible people don't take naps at 6:30 in the evening.

This 'responsible' person wants one.

Can I still call myself responsible if I take a nap and then work?

Also, can I truly call myself responsible if the biggest reason I'm not going tonight is because no one else is free to go with me?

Well, technically, there are people I could ask, I'm sure.

I just don't want to end up on an unexpected date.

Cause that's not awkward at all.

Wait.

I'm not being responsible right now.

Must go do homework.

Or sleep.

Whichever comes first.

Sleep, definitely.
