There's a Monster in Our Sink

We ran the garbage disposal for the first time today.

After using a flashlight to make sure there weren't any utensils in the drain & turning on the water in hopes that it would keep the disposal from eating itself, we flipped the switch and BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWRRRRRRRRRRR.
