Just Today: 121511

The medication I was given at the doctor's a few days ago has me feelin' suuuper whooozy.

Like, my head's not really spinning, but it's definitely hard to concentrate and every time I try to walk anywhere, the floor keeps moving around.

The floor should stop that. It isn't nice.

On the upside, I haven't fallen over yet.

I think it's because I happen to be able to walk around this house with my eyes closed...

That comes in handy.

My parents are going to have a new roof installed sometime in January, but in the meantime, a bunch of shingles flew off the top of our house during the last windstorm that hit California {a testament to how whoozy I am is that I spelled California wrong five different ways before I finally got it right}.

So one of the roofing guys came by this morning to patch up our current roof so it won't leak during the holidays if it happens to rain.

Zoe did not appreciate all the banging and thumping and loud noises over our heads while he worked on that. She made that very clear with her barking and barking and barking.

At some point, I looked her in the eye and told her that it was ohhhhkayyyyy. He was supposed to be up there.

And she stopped barking.

I swear, sometimes I'm sure this dog understands English.

I've been wearing my retainers lately in light of the news that I have a dentist appointment next week.

Does anyone else do that? Start wearing their retainers again right before a check up?

On that note, am I the only one that only wears my headgear when I'm at home and I absolutely have to because of that dentist appointment? I think not.

At least I hope not...
