College Conundrum: Bunkbeds

Pinned Image
{if only our apartment was this gorgeous and neat. *grins*}
For those of us who didn't grow up with a bunkbed, coming to college is a new experience in that you're now sleeping six feet off the floor and the distance you could fall if you forget and try to roll out of bed is a lot greater than you're used to.

One thing that occurred to me this morning is that people with bunkbeds rarely make their beds.

*grins*

Shellie, don't hurt me! But I came to this revelation when I looked over at your bunk this morning. Although I'm certainly guilty of doing the same thing at times.

When my dear roomie was sleeping in the living room on the floor, she made her bed every morning and it was super neat with the comforter tucked in and the pillow just so.

Now that the bunkbed's set up and she's sleeping on the top, her sheets and everything are left however she tossed them when getting out of bed in the morning.

It's this weird thing that we people with the top bunk think-- that since we're on the top bunk, no one can see our bed anyways, so why bother?

Tis true.

It makes life a lot easier, not having to make your bed in the morning.

Messymessy. But ohsonice.
