Now mind you, my mother is not one for sounding silly. Despite that... or maybe because of that, I find this particular utterance of hers from this evening hilarious.
"New Orleans is in Atlanta, right?"
Er. No, Mom. Atlanta's not a state. Atlanta's in Georgia. New Orleans is Louisiana.
Just sayin'.
